Mrs Moon Setting Sun Baby Blanket Pattern
I think this blanket is stunning; a real family heirloom and the perfect present for a new baby. I had enough leftover yarn to make some bobbles but decided in the end to leave them off, less is more in some situations, however, it is always an option!
Sizes:
One size, but note that I have given the pattern repeat below so it is easy to upsize. The instructions for the border work for a larger blanket too.
Finished Measurements:
67cm x 57cm (26 x 22 ˝” )
Tension:
12 pinwheel pattern rows and (3 sets of pinwheels and 6dc) sts.
You will need:
2 balls of Mrs Moon’s Pudding in each of the following colours: Sugared Almond (CC1), Peppermint Cream (CC2), Darjeeling (CC3), Gooseberry Fool (CC4), Marshmallow (CC5) and Fondant Fancy (CC6) NB.
I used an additional ball of Sugared Almond for the final ‘picot’ edge.
